A leading substance abuse researcher in Australia believes that as long as it is illegal to sell e-cigarettes containing nicotine in Australia the constraint places researchers and smokers in a difficult situation.
University of Queensland (UQ) Professor Wayne Hall, advisor to the World Health Organisation believes such restrictions “limit research and positive use by those who would prefer to slow their habit or stop smoking altogether.”
