Providing evidence to NHS England for Internet Pharmacy

So you’ve decide to apply to open an internet pharmacy and you’ve read the application form and it seems simple enough.

I mean people send you prescriptions in the mail or via ETP2, you dispense and you send it out via mail or courier.  It’s not a hard prospect to envision and neither is it difficult to write this down in the application form.

Unfortunately, many people don’t take the time to think about the internet pharmacy model and the application.  Application after application is being refused and appeals confirm the decision.  Even though the distance selling contract it is an exempt application sufficient evidence still has to be provided to NHS England.

So how do you evidence?

What do you evidence?

Do you provide SOPs? Do you need SOPs?

“Really enjoyed the training session over the last 3 days, John was a great presenter who did really well considering he had an audience from all over the UK…infact the world! I’m sure the face to face/classroom style presentation would have been more interactive as I certainly missed being able to bounce off others but this is no fault of John or the course contents. Learned so much from the past few days, more than I actually realised that I would. Thank you!”  February 2021… Read more
