Co-ordinated by Interpol, the 14th “Operation Pangea” saw over 100 countries joining force.
- 3 Million illicit medicines were seized valued at £9 million in the UK
- The operation involved 92 countries
- 113,020 Web links were closed or removed
- 43 websites were shut down
- 7 criminals arrested in the UK, 277 worldwide.
- Half of the medical devices seized worldwide were fake unauthorised Covid testing kits
- Medicines seized included anti-depressants, erectile dysfunction tablets, painkillers, anabolic steroids and slimming pills
