Another Medical Device update. The MHRA will shortly be opening a public consultation on the future direction of Medical Device regulation, it is vital that all relevant voices are heard so please monitor the MHRA notices and respond when appropriate. With the EU having moved to MDR and GB effectively working to the previous MDD regulations it is vital that future regulation allows us to continue to freely trade with the EU, but the drafting of new legislation also gives us the opportunity to better align with other key markets. It is potentially a tricky balance but we all need to make our concerns and views known.
