As part of your application for a Wholesale Distribution Authorisation – WDA(H) – you will need to list a Responsible Person or RP on your license. This person will need to be granted RP status by the MHRA and eligibility is determined by suitable experience in handling, storage and selling medicinal products.
At Pharmacy Consulting, we have Contract RPs available who con be contracted for RP services on your authorisation. They will be responsible for the application of Good Distribution Practice on site and will ensure that all licensable activities you undertake remain compliant. As contractors, we can act as the RP or as Deputy RP in support of the on-site staff.
Our RPs can also train the license holder or a key member of staff in the role of the RP and GDP so that once sufficient experience has been gained they can then apply for RP status.
