A partnership between Brittany Ferries and the CMA CGM Group is paving the way for Brittany Ferries to move into the freight and logistics market. They will do this by using cargo space on board their services to UK, Ireland and the Iberian Peninsula.
By transporting their cargo goods aboard the Brittany Ferries roll-on roll-off (roro) ships, the CPA CGM Group are able to expand their offerings in the roro sector for the Atlantic and northern coast of France to destinations in the UK.
Transportation of goods has changed following Covid-19, with more demand for transportation of unaccompanied trailers and this partnership will allow Brittany Ferries to offer new transport services to better meet this demand.
With this agreement in place, both groups will be able to introduce new roro service.
