Contracts and TAs are they legal?

When setting out to prepare a contract with a customer or supplier or a Contract RP etc., it is useful to consider and include the following points.

It is always sensible to have a written contract to ensure it is legally binding and the contract should contain an “Offer and Acceptance” which both parties must be in agreement with and agree to abide by the terms set out.

The consideration should also be stated it is usually money and can be as little as £1.

Create legal intention and certainty, the content must be set out with clarity. It is important that the parties in agreement must have the capacity to make the agreement. (Not under 18, without mental capacity or drunk!)

Remember it does  not need to be signed to be legally binding.

“Really enjoyed the training session over the last 3 days, John was a great presenter who did really well considering he had an audience from all over the UK…infact the world! I’m sure the face to face/classroom style presentation would have been more interactive as I certainly missed being able to bounce off others but this is no fault of John or the course contents. Learned so much from the past few days, more than I actually realised that I would. Thank you!”  February 2021… Read more
