Additional Pharmacy Regulatory Changes from 1st October 2025, are you ready for the changes?
Several regulatory changes are due to come into effect today (1st October 2025), having been included in the amendment regulations laid before Parliament last week (The National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2025).
These additional changes are intended to reduce some of the regulatory burden on pharmacy owners.
The changes include changes relating to practice leaflets and the addition of the HPV vaccine to the list of those that can be supplied to community pharmacies via centrally procured stock.

These above changes come into effect as well as the hub and spoke dispensing changes and DSP changes that also come into effect today (1st October 2025).
