People often tell us that they cannot audit when they come on our course. This is not true they must just look at things differently. They must do their homework to ensure that they know what they are auditing and why.
It may be a client site and their quality system or a self-audit of a process carried out by your own site. Do not just look at the procedures and records, but really review them thoroughly and observe how they are implemented in practice. Always check, break through the familiar and talk through your observations with the auditee. You will be amazed at what additional information you will glean but the information gleaned from people who you speak to.
