Due to the current Ebola outbreak, a ‘conditional permit’ has been recommended for this Ebola vaccine. The decision was made by the European Medicines Agency EMA in collaboration with the World Health Organization and the African national registration authorities, as the vaccine is effective in the current outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
