Promising results have been reported in the BMJ (January 2020 ) this month regarding the success of AI Artificial Intelligence systems designed to read mammogram images the research was funded by Google and used images from UK and US patients. The studies showed statistically significant improvements and although it does have limitations and cannot fully address the shortages of radiologists it would help.
