Charging for delivering NHS prescriptions, can you do it?

Frequently we are asked to review distance selling pharmacy applications and often the author has included charging the customer for their delivery in their SOPs or their business plan. This is not allowed, as pharmacies are not permitted to charge for the delivery of a NHS prescription.

Ensure you do not get caught or you may put your contract in jeopardy.
