Charging for delivering NHS prescriptions, can you do it?

by | Oct 9, 2015 | Blog

Frequently we are asked to review distance selling pharmacy applications and often the author has included charging the customer for their delivery in their SOPs or their business plan. This is not allowed, as pharmacies are not permitted to charge for the delivery of a NHS prescription.

Ensure you do not get caught or you may put your contract in jeopardy.

The GPD session at PCL enabled me to focus on the really important things when it comes to getting your wholesale licence. Dawn structured the workshop in a very lively and interactive way so it is easy to follow and to use her ideas for your own business. It was very helpful, I decided to book the Audit training too.
