Data Collecting Wearable Devices are helping GPs diagnose and track patient symptoms.

On line GP consultations are here to stay for a while and the diagnosis of certain conditions are being aided more and more by wearable devices. Many devices now not only measure (for example) heart rates, they can also track and alert of any irregularities in what they are measuring, giving what can be key information and diagnostics to GPs

Alarms can be set which trigger alerts to the wearer, the carer or even the GP. Simple patient alerts such as a reminder to take their regular medicines or additional medicines or to stop exercising or take another puff of their inhaler can have a positive impact on maintaining health.
