What do you do with your old SOPs? Do you have space to store them in your office?
Do you archive them?
Do you have staff who work from home or in other countries?

Do you save them digitally or in paper form? I am old enough to remember “Punch Cards “and “Microfiche” I was a toddler I hasten to add!   Now we are encouraged to use “Cloud based storage “we are told it allows you greater viability, traceability, version control, allows you to link documents together and allows an audit to take place quicker and in a more efficient manner.

Do you think we should trust “The Cloud”, the name to me still suggests doom gloom and rain as in the UK they  are not always fluffy and white  ?

CROs are in a cut throat world and it is the IT savvy ones which are on the top of the heap. They have used  innovative “ Cloud based “ IT solutions to demonstrate how they can manage data efficiently allowing close collaboration, better visibility , reducing the burden of paper and streamlining of the process which in turn builds trust and helps bring products to the market quicker.

The cloud based electronic trial master file systems eTMFs, free up the CROs time to allow them to run the trial more effectively and impart 360 degree visibility.  We no longer need to keep files and files of paper!!!

Cloud eTMF & Multi-tenant cloud architecture allows everyone to be running with the latest and the same version. This means that management can have access to dashboards and reports and their trial documents are all in a single repository which is inspection ready. This efficiency allows the IT savvy CROs to be highly competitive.

What’s your solution? And does it work?

We’d love to hear your feedback.
