Just because you may be based in the UK does not mean that your clients or customers are UK based often your website or your youtube videos will be watched much further afield so,

  • Think GLOBAL

Consider referencing global companies and services, think about what your customer is searching for not just what you want to sell them, do your research and optimise the content well, do not make the content too wordy.

  • Monitor your website visitors

Review what your website visitors are searching for and which parts of your site they are landing on and which other pages they visit? Are they return visitors?

Keep your website alive and add content and update the pages regularly.

  • Write blogs

Ensure the blogs are topical and optimise them and ensure they cover the topics that your customers are searching for.

  • Personalise your marketing use effective imagery

Ensure the photos on the website are professional and that they help to convey the message or enhance the message you want to get across.

Use Linked-In and send In mails which are more personal and much more likely to be read.

  • Consider a video

Make sure the video is short and does not impede the speed of loading of your website

  • Ensure you know the rules and what and what you cannot advertise

Remember you cannot advertise unlicensed medicines and prescription only medicines ( POM) directly to the public. Unlicensed use of a licensed medicine should also not be advertised. Read the MHRA “ BLUE GUIDE”.
