In our line of business, we spend a considerable amount of our time reading, creating, reviewing, maintaining and updating the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of many types of businesses.  These SOPs will form part of a company’s Quality System (QS) and provide a step-by-step guide to the processes involved in performing key activities within the company.

As a medicines distributor it is expected that you have, maintain and update a QS including your SOPs.

As a pharmacist, it is best practice to also have SOPs.
